Explanatory Note:
a. By sustainable development goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (https://sdgs.un.org/goals) captures all dimensions the term “quality of life” in a comprehensive way.
The 17 SDGs are:

b. South Asian Region covers the nine members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC – https://saarc-sec.org/). These countries includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Registration
SAIRE is registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (License No 1693) under section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017
SAIRE is a member-driven association not-for-profit governed by a volunteer board of directors elected from among the members. The chairman of the board (with the approval of the board) appoints the secretary of the board and runs all affairs of the company. The chairman of appoints committees and task forces to handle the company’s business, undertake projects, and manage services.
Governing Documents
SAIRE is a company set up under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 2017. Its directions, structure, operation, and the philosophies by which the chairman/members carry out their professional responsibilities are guided by the SAIRE’s Mission,Memorandum, and Articles of Associates.
